Evaluations
Three evaluations, and what follows them
All three follow the same six steps. What changes is the question we are asking and the tests we choose.
For a child who reads, writes or does math with more effort than you would expect, or whose grades do not match how bright they are. We look at reading, writing, math, memory and how a child takes in information.
For a child who has trouble starting, finishing or keeping track of things, at home or at school. We look at focus, planning, activity level, and what teachers and parents each see.
For a child whose questions overlap. We look at learning and attention together, and write one report instead of two. Ask about it when you write to us.
After the testing
What you take home
A feedback meeting
We explain the results to you in plain words, and answer what you ask.
A written report
Each result, what it means for your child, and what we suggest at home and at school.
A school letter
A short letter, written to be read at a team meeting, that you can share or keep.
Fees are explained in writing before you start
One fee covers the whole evaluation, and you hear it before any testing begins.
