After the testing

The meeting, the report and the letter

We do not mail a report and wish you luck. We sit down with you first, then you receive the report and the letter.

  • The feedback meeting

An hour with the psychologist, to hear what we found and to ask questions. We explain each result in plain words.

  • The written report

It describes what we did, what we saw and what it means for your child, with suggestions for home and for school.

  • The school letter

A short letter for the school team. We write it to be read quickly, at a meeting, by people who have a lot to read.

What we do not do

What a report cannot do

  • It does not decide supports

A school team decides what your child receives. We write so that the team has clear information to work from.

  • It does not go to the school on its own

We send nothing to a school without your written permission. You can share the letter only, or the whole report.

  • It describes the days we met

A report describes your child on the days we saw them. We say what we suggest, and results vary from child to child.

Questions about the report or the letter?

Write to us, or ask at intake. We are glad to explain.
